DataGridViewRow.Height Property

Gets or sets the current height of the row.

 property int Height { int get(); void set(int value); };
public int Height { get; set; }
member this.Height : int with get, set
Public Property Height As Integer

Property Value

The height, in pixels, of the row. The default is the height of the default font plus 9 pixels.

When setting this property, the row is in a DataGridView control and is a shared row.

The following code example uses the Height property to set the height of the first row. This code example is part of a larger code example provided in How to: Manipulate Rows in the Windows Forms DataGridView Control.

// Set height.
void Button5_Click( Object^ /*sender*/, System::EventArgs^ /*e*/ )
   DataGridViewRow^ row = dataGridView->Rows[ 0 ];
   row->Height = 15;
// Set height.
private void Button5_Click(object sender, System.EventArgs e)

    DataGridViewRow row = dataGridView.Rows[0];
    row.Height = 15;
' Set height.
Private Sub Button5_Click(ByVal sender As Object, _
    ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button5.Click

    Dim row As DataGridViewRow = dataGridView.Rows(0)
    row.Height = 15
End Sub

To set the minimum height for a row, use the MinimumHeight property.
