Constituent marketing journeys, part of Microsoft Cloud for Nonprofit, uses the Dynamics 365 Customer Insights Nonprofit Common Data Model. Constituent marketing journeys help you engage donors, volunteers, and beneficiaries through marketing.

Key capabilities of marketing journeys

  • Segment donors based on donation information: Use prebuilt donor segments based on your fundraising system donation data, such as brand new donors, donors who have never made a recurring gift, and lapsed donors. Suppression lists help you exclude donors who gave in the last 30/60/90 days.
  • Segment volunteers based on their engagement: Prebuilt volunteer segments are based on your volunteer management system data. This data can include volunteer participation, volunteer preferences and qualifications, and lapsed volunteers.
  • Bring donors and volunteers along curated journeys: Create custom journeys for donors and volunteers and take advantage of prebuilt nonprofit journeys, such as the donor welcome series and the volunteer welcome series.
  • Engage lapsed donors and volunteers: Use prebuilt journeys for new donors, lapsed donors, and volunteers to automate outreach to these segments. Then, constituents automatically enter these journeys when they haven't given or engaged for a while.
  • Quickly get started with nonprofit-specific email templates: Constituent marketing journeys provide five nonprofit-specific email templates with design and content ideas, such as donor thank you emails, newsletters, and recurring gift asks.
