Create a corrective invoice (Spain)

This procedure walks you through how to create a corrective invoice. This procedure was created using the demo data company DEMF with a primary address in Spain.

Create a purchase invoice

  1. Go to Project management and accounting > Projects > All projects.
  2. In the list, click the link in the selected row.
  3. Click Item task.
  4. Click Purchase order.
  5. In the Vendor account field, enter or select a value.
  6. Click OK.
  7. In the list, mark the selected row.
  8. Click Edit.
  9. In the Item number field, enter or select a value.
  10. In the Quantity field, enter a number.
  11. On the Action Pane, click Purchase.
  12. Click Confirm.
  13. On the Action Pane, click Invoice.
  14. Click Invoice.
  15. Click Default from: Product receipt quantity to open the drop dialog.
  16. In the Default quantity for lines field, select an option.
  17. Click OK.
  18. In the Number field, type a value.
  19. Click Save.
  20. Click Post.

Post a credit note on a purchase

  1. Go to Project management and accounting > Projects > All projects.
  2. In the list, click the link in the selected row.
  3. Click Item task.
  4. Click Purchase order.
  5. In the Vendor account field, enter or select a value.
  6. Click OK.
  7. On the Action Pane, click Purchase.
  8. Click Credit note.
  9. Expand the Invoices section.
  10. Select the Select all check box.
  11. Expand the Parameters section.
  12. Click OK.
  13. On the Action Pane, click Invoice.
  14. Click Credit invoicing.
  15. In the Reason code field, select an option.
  16. In the Reason for correction field, type a value.
  17. In the Correction method field, select an option.
  18. Click OK.
  19. Click Financials.
  20. Click Credit invoicing.
  21. In the Reason code field, select an option.
  22. In the Reason for correction field, type a value.
  23. In the Correction method field, select an option.
  24. Click OK.
  25. Collapse the Line details section.
  26. Click Save.
  27. On the Action Pane, click Purchase.
  28. Click Confirm.
  29. On the Action Pane, click Invoice.
  30. Click Invoice.
  31. Click No.
  32. In the Number field, type a value.
  33. Click Post.

Verify the posted invoice has the correct information

  1. Go to Accounts payable > Vendors > All vendors.
  2. In the list, click the link in the selected row.
  3. Click Transactions.
  4. Click the General tab.
