Element Usage Log

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Use this form to view a summary of how various elements in Microsoft Dynamics AX are used, including how frequently they are used and when they were last used.

To open this form, select Tools > Application objects > Element usage log.

The following table describes the columns in the data grid.

Column	Description
Application object type	The type of the application object.
Name	The name of the application object.
Layer	The layer that the application object appears in.
Frequency	The frequency which the application object is used, such as Never or Monthly.
Not used since	The date when the application object was last used.

The following table describes the buttons in the action pane.

Command	Description
Export to Microsoft Excel	Exports the elements usage log form to Microsoft Excel.
