Pallet types (form)

This topic applies to features in the Inventory management module. It does not apply to features in the Warehouse management module.

Click Inventory management > Setup > Inventory equipment > Pallet types.

Use this form to define the pallet types that are used, and to define the physical dimensions for any kind of item container.

Navigating the form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Button	Description
Pallets	View a list of pallet locations.

Field	Description
Pallet type	The unique identifier of the pallet type.
Name	The description of the pallet type.
Height	The height of this kind of pallet.
Width	The width of this kind of pallet.
Depth	The depth of this kind of pallet.
Volume	The calculated volume of the pallet. The volume is calculated based on the height, width, and depth.
Weight	The calculated weight of the pallet.
Container	Select this check box to indicate that the pallet type is considered a container. When the check box is selected, the pallet type is used to put items inside the pallet. The pallet’s height corresponds to the height of the pallet type. When the check box is cleared, the pallet type is used to put items on the pallet. Both the pallet and the items are included in the calculation of the height.
