NetAdapter: The next Generation of NDIS

NDIS has been around as long as Windows has been around, and the current NDIS 6 model has been used since Windows Server 2003. Microsoft is working on a new model for network drivers that will, over time, supersede the existing NDIS work. While the model is not yet ready for widespread use, it is already available for some simple drivers and will grow in capabilities in each upcoming release as it matures. This talk will address the key characteristics of the new model and point to available sample code that can be reviewed by our partners.
