To become a MCSE: Data Management and Analytics, you must earn at least one of the following: MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014, MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Development, MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Administration, MCSA: SQL 2016 BI Development, MCSA: BI Reporting certification.

    This certification validates your extract, transform, and load (ETL) and data warehouse skills, along with those for implementing BI solutions using multidimensional and tabular data models and online analytical processing (OLAP) cubes.

  • MCSA: BI Reporting

    This certification demonstrates your expertise in analyzing data with both Power BI and Excel.

    This exam is intended for database professionals who build and implement databases across organizations and who ensure high levels of data availability. Their responsibilities include creating database files, data types, and tables; planning, creating, and optimizing indexes; ensuring data integrity; implementing views, stored procedures, and functions; and managing transactions and locks.
