Sets or retrieves the direction in which the text should scroll.

Possible values are:

  • left – Default. Marquee scrolls left.

  • right – Marquee scrolls right.

  • down – Marquee scrolls down.

  • up – Marquee scrolls up.

This attribute extends the HTMLMarqueeElement interface.
