2.2 Upload Message Syntax

Messages follow HTTP 1.1 syntax. The required HTTP headers and the format of the HTTP message body, as specified in section 4.3 of [RFC2616], for each message are described later. An implementation MAY include additional HTTP headers in each message, following the rules in [RFC2616], and MUST treat recognized headers according to their standard meaning in [RFC2616].

A future version of this protocol MAY define new HTTP header fields. The recipient of a message MUST ignore any header fields that it does not understand.
