The CONNTYPE_XAUSER_XACT_BRANCH_OPEN connection type is used to open a tightly-coupled XA Transaction Branch to exchange transactional information.

The XAUSER_XACT_MTAG_READONLY message is sent on this connection type, in addition to the set of message types in section 2.2.4.5.
