3.3.4.6 Application Requests the Session Key Associated with a Client Session

The application provides the following:

  • Open -- A Server.Open that identifies an open instance of a file or pipe.

The server MUST provide a 16-byte session key described by Server.Open.Session.SessionKey to the caller. An implementation-specific error MUST be returned to the caller if the session key is not available.
