3.3.5.1.2 Receiving an MSG_DTCUIC_UPDATELIMIT Message

When the Management Server receives an MSG_DTCUIC_UPDATELIMIT message, it MUST perform the following actions:

  • If the connection state is Active:

    • Set the Update Limit to the value of the dwUpdateLimit field from the message.

  • Otherwise, the message MUST be processed as an invalid message according to the rules specified in [MS-DTCO], section 3.1.6.
