3.1.5.1 CreateService

When initialization and startup is complete, the client sends the CreateService message to the server to instantiate the service on the server, and also creates a proxy for that service (an object that implements the proxied service's interfaces). As part of the CreateService request, the client allocates a service handle that is sent to the server, and is subsequently used when calling functions on the service.

If the CreateService event occurs while the client is in the Start state, the client moves into the Accepting Requests state and returns S_OK (0x00000000). Otherwise, the client returns an appropriate error code from the set of DSLR error codes defined in section 2.2.2.5.
