The following operations are allowed to be performed on this resource.

GET

Retrieves information from the server.

This operation is transported by an HTTP GET request.

The operation can be invoked through the following URI:

 http://<server>/keyprotection/service/metadata/2014-07/metadata.xml

The list of possible certificates includes PrimaryEncryptionCertificate, PrimarySigningCertificate as defined in section 2.2.3.11, and non-primary certificates, including OtherSigningCertificates, as defined in section 2.2.3.11.

The KPS metadata consists of:

  • Optional metadata about the guardian or owner.

  • The KPS PrimarySigningCertificate.

  • The KPS PrimaryEncryptionCertificate.

  • The signature over the KPS encryption certificate by the KPS signing private key.
