1.3.2 Protocol Initialization

This protocol relies for transportation of its packets on the Remote Desktop Protocol: File System Virtual Channel Extension as specified in [MS-RDPEFS]. It describes the format of messages for printer devices. This protocol is considered initialized after at least one printer device is advertised by the client, and after the "Server Device Announce Response" message that indicates successful initialization for that device is sent by the server as illustrated in the figure in section 1.3.1 of [MS-RDPEFS].
