2.2.2.3 PFC_SUPPORT_HEADER_SIGN Flag

These extensions define a new PDU flag for the pfc_flags in the common header fields that are specified in [C706] section 12.6, with the numeric value of 0x04. The new flag, PFC_SUPPORT_HEADER_SIGN, has the same numeric value as the existing PFC_PENDING_CANCEL flag.

The PDU type MUST be examined to determine how to interpret this flag. (The PDU types are specified in section 2.2.2.10 and [C706] section 12.6.) For PDU types bind, bind_ack, alter_context, alter_context_resp, and rpc_auth_3, this flag MUST be interpreted as PFC_SUPPORT_HEADER_SIGN. For the remaining PDU types, this flag MUST be interpreted as PFC_PENDING_CANCEL.
