3.2.7.6 RTSP Request Received

The server SHOULD provide a mechanism to inform the higher layer that an RTSP request has been received. The higher layer acknowledges the event by indicating whether the request can be accepted or rejected.

The input parameters to this event SHOULD include the RTSP request type (for example, SETUP or PLAY). The output parameter is a flag that indicates whether the higher layer determined that the request is accepted or rejected.
