1.4 Relationship to Other Protocols

TSWPP depends on HTTP (as defined in [RFC7230] and [RFC2109]) and HTTPS ([RFC2818]) to transfer all protocol messages, including resource information. Any version of HTTP can be used with TSWPP.

For initial authentication, TSWPP depends on the authentication scheme defined in [RFC4559].
