1 Introduction

The Virtual Application Publishing and Reporting Protocol enables a protocol client to discover virtual application packages available to a user or machine. It also allows the protocol client to collect and send data about the operating system, virtual applications on that client and their usage to the protocol server.

Sections 1.5, 1.8, 1.9, 2, and 3 of this specification are normative. All other sections and examples in this specification are informative.
