System Settings Formats tab

You can control how customer engagement apps (Dynamics 365 Sales, Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Dynamics 365 Field Service, Dynamics 365 Marketing, and Dynamics 365 Project Service Automation), display numbers, currencies, times, and dates for your organization.

Open the Formats System Settings dialog box (it it isn't already open)

  1. Make sure that you have the System Administrator or System Customizer security role or equivalent permissions.

    Check your security role

    • Follow the steps in View your user profile.

    • Don’t have the correct permissions? Contact your system administrator.

  2. In the web app, go to Settings (Settings.) > Advanced Settings.

  3. Select Settings > Administration.

  4. Select System Settings > Formats tab.

Settings Description
Organizational Standards and Formats
Current Format Default: your organization's language and locale. Choose Customize to customize number, currency, time, and date formats for your organization.
Format Preview Preview the settings for the selected language and locale.
