Introduction

Version 9.1 21102 for Microsoft Dataverse is now available in all regions. This article describes the updates, including the new features, and the fixes to existing functionality, which are included in this update. This version was first made available in preview on October 14, 2021, and completed worldwide rollout on November 22, 2021.

New features

Fixes and improvements

  • Added FCB.PcfDatasetGridShowJumpBar to control default visibility of jump bar on new grid in Wave 2
  • Changed phone number links to open with tel: instead of skype: in the new grid in Wave 2
  • Customers will no longer see duplicate fields on the merge dialog.
  • Makers can now use the save.econtext.getEventArgs().disableAsyncTimeout(); parameter when using the async onSave event. When this is set the timeout for that handler will not be applied and the onSave event will wait for the promise to be fulfilled.
  • Platform Fabric\Fluent library version updated from 7.126.1 to 8.28.0. Advanced filtering on a grid was causing the page to become unresponsive. Custom controls are not impacted.
  • Quick actions were covering the primary column value in search results grid.
  • Resolved issue: When returning to the Home view within an entity after opening a record, the refresh button was not visible.
  • Resolved problem with applying column filters on a column from a related entity in the new grid in Wave 2
  • Subtle differences made the look-and-feel of search results grid different from a table's home page grid.
  • When creating a column filter in any entity and navigating to another form, the column filter settings were removed when navigating back to the entity.
