Retrieves the server licensing and client access license (CAL) information for the Dynamics 365 deployment.

Description

The Get-CrmAccessLicense cmdlet retrieves the server licensing and CAL information for the Dynamics 365 deployment.

Examples

Example 1

PS C:\> Get-CrmAccessLicense | Format-Table

Returns a list of all license types and counts for all current system work in a table format.

Example 2

PS C:\> Get-CrmAccessLicense -LicenseName “Dynamics CRM 2016 Basic CAL” -StartDate “1/1/2017” -EndDate “12/31/2017”

Gets users for the Dynamics CRM 2016 Basic CAL license type within a specific date range.

-Credential

Expects a variable that contains the user credentials used for signing in to Dynamics 365 on-premises organization. To establish this variable, run the PowerShell command $Cred = Get-Credential.
