Edit User Dialog Box (Administrator)
Changes the user name and sharing permissions for a user.
Note
As the database administrator, you must grant read-only users sharing permissions for the database. See How to: Set Share Permissions for a Database.
Dialog Box Access
In Visual SourceSafe Administrator, on the Users menu, click Edit User. Another way to display this dialog box is to select a user name in the user list and then press ENTER.
- OK
Makes the requested user changes.
- Read only
Specifies sharing permissions. When selected, this box indicates read-only permissions. Deselect the box to change the user's permissions to read/write.
- User name
Specifies a user name, which can contain up to 31 characters.
