Microsoft has a large resource of Microsoft SQL Server documentation for developers. Microsoft SQL Server Books Online is the documentation set for Microsoft SQL Server 2005. The SQL Server documentation is published three ways:

  • A copy of the SQL Server documentation is included on the SQL Server 2005 installation discs.
  • A copy of the SQL Server documentation is published on the Web in the MSDN Library, where it is periodically updated with new information.
  • You can download periodic updates to the SQL Server documentation from this Web page.
