Interfaces for Service Providers and Applications

This topic documents a feature of the Windows Media Device Manager SDK. We recommend that you migrate your application to use the Windows Portable Devices API. For more information, see the Windows Portable Devices SDK.

The following interfaces can be used by both service providers and applications that use the Windows Media Device Manager SDK.

Interface	Description
IWMDMLogger	Logs entries in a common log file.
IComponentAuthenticate	Provides secure, encrypted communication between modules of Windows Media Device Manager.
