Versioned File Status The Source Control Explorer in Team Foundation Server displays a wealth of information about the files it is managing. One of the most subtle, yet important pieces of information it displays is the version control status of each file. For each file, you can see whether your teammates have pending changes and whether you have the latest version. This information is displayed in a very unobtrusive way so you are not interrupted in your own work by status. Team Foundation Server also offers sophisticated conflict resolution and merging if the pending changes between two team members conflict.
