Integrating Tests with Project Structure and Milestones

The importance of a test result often depends on what the test addresses and the stage of the project. For example, a test that identifies a spelling mistake in the splash screen of a Windows application might not be very important if it is found in the very first milestone of a project. But that same test result becomes critical if the project is in its final milestone.

Visual Studio Team System helps you express this context by enabling you to associate your tests with Project Iterations and Areas (Figure 1 and Figure 2).
