The following table shows the default values for the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main settings that define the characteristics of the browser UI for television-style navigation.

The default value is set to 1 to reformat Web pages to eliminate horizontal scrolling. |
Directional Tabbing : REG_DWORD |
The default value is set to 1 to enable directional tabbing. Set to 0 to disable directional tabbing. |
Directional Tabbing Mouse Events : REG_DWORD |
The default value is 0. Setting this value to 1 enables the following DHTML mouse events.
When VK_EXECUTE is received the following mouse events are fired:
VK_EXECUTE can be associated with the Ok, Go, or the Click button on the remote control device or the keyboard. > [!NOTE] > The center of the first image in the focus rectangle is used as the mouse point for all events. |
Focus Rectangle : REG_DWORD |
The default value is set to 1 to display focus rectangle over web page. Set to 0 to disable focus rectangle. |
Focus Rectangle Side Thickness : REG_DWORD |
The default value is set to 5, to set side width of focus rectangle frame. |
Focus Rectangle Top Thickness : REG_DWORD |
The default value is set to 5 to set top width of focus rectangle frame. |
Focus Rectangle Transparency Color : REG_SZ |
The default value is set to "255, 255, 0" to create a transparent window. |
Scrollbar : REG_DWORD |
The default is set to 0, to disable vertical scroll bars. |
ScrollAdorner : REG_DWORD |
This is a hex value that enables you to set a flexible position for the scroll adorner arrows. The default value is set to 0. For horizontal scroll arrow positions, set bits 0 through 3 to one of the following values:
