Attributes synchronized to Azure Active Directory

There is a new product called “Azure Active Directory Connect” that replaces AADSync and DirSync.
Azure AD Connect incorporates the components and functionality previously released as Dirsync and AAD Sync.
At some point in the future, support for Dirsync and AAD Sync will end.
These tools are no longer being updated individually with feature improvements, and all future improvements will be included in updates to Azure AD Connect.

By default, Azure AD sync assumes that you want to synchronize all object types and attributes for all Office 365 and Azure services powered by Azure AD. If you need to limit the list to a smaller set of attributes, the following tables lists the attributes in Azure AD that are consumed by a service.

With Azure AD Sync, you can remove individual attributes from being synchronized.
Some services might not behave as expected when certain attributes are removed. The affected attributes are listed with their Active Directory LDAP name in the Install the Azure Active Directory Sync Service.

There are also some attributes that might be listed with a different name in other interfaces. For example, the attribute l from Active Directory is tracked as city in Azure AD.
