The Set-AzureStorageAccount cmdlet updates properties of a storage account in Azure.

-- Standard_LRS. Locally-redundant storage.
-- Standard_ZRS. Zone-redundant storage.
-- Standard_GRS. Geo-redundant storage.
-- Standard_RAGRS. Read access geo-redundant storage.

You cannot change Standard_ZRS accounts to other account types. You cannot change other account types to Standard_ZRS.

Example 1: Change the type of a storage account type

This command changes the account type of the account named StorageAccount24 in ResourceGroup11.

PS C:\> Set-AzureStorageAccount -ResourceGroupName "ResourceGroup11" -Name "StorageAccount24" -AccountType "Standard_RAGRS"

Example 2: Set a custom domain

This command adds a custom domain named Contoso domain to the account named StorageAccount24 in ResourceGroup11.

PS C:\> Set-AzureStorageAccount -ResourceGroupName "ResourceGroup11" -Name "StorageAccount24" -CustomDomainName "Contoso domain" -UseSubDomain $True
