IHadoopApplianceStorageClient.SetOwnerAsync Method (String, String, String)

Asynchronously sets owner of a path (i.e. a file or a directory).

Parameters

  • owner
    Type: System.String

    New owner of the file. If it is null, the original owner name remains unchanged.

  • group
    Type: System.String

    New group owner of file. If it is null, the original group name remains unchanged.

Return Value

Type: System.Threading.Tasks.Task<Boolean>

The task representing the asynchronous operation.
