Gets the number of columns in the current row

Syntax

  Public ReadOnly Property FieldCount As Integer

  public int FieldCount { get; }

Property Value

When not positioned in a valid recordset, 0; otherwise the number of columns in the current row. The default is -1.

Remarks

After executing a query that does not return rows, FieldCount returns 0.

Thread Safety

All public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread-safe. Instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe.
