Managing user operations on SharePoint Web applications
This section describes optional settings you can configure after the initial configuration of the SharePoint Web application in IAG, including the following:
- Preventing end users from uploading, checking in files, and saving files from Microsoft Office applications to the SharePoint Web application, unless the end user's computer meets the security policy requirements that you define, as described in Preventing file uploads from non-compliant computers to SharePoint Web applications.
- Preventing end users from downloading files, exporting to a spreadsheet, or editing datasheets, unless the end user's computer meets the security policy requirements you define, as described in Preventing file downloads from SharePoint Web applications to non-compliant computers.
- Restricting end users' access to sensitive areas of the application, unless the end user's computer meets the security policy requirements you define, as described in Preventing access from non-compliant computers to restricted zones and areas on SharePoint Web applications.
- Enabling access from the SharePoint Web application to third-party applications, as described in Enabling users to access third-party applications via Web Parts.
