Profiles Schema Manager

The Profiles Schema Manager is a user-profiling component of Microsoft Commerce Server 2009. The Profiles Schema Manager is the foundation for personalization and intelligence across your online business—including customer-centric business intelligence, customer-specific pricing and business processing, targeted merchandising and advertising campaigns, and customer-specific catalogs.

You define and track specific properties of your Internet shopping Web site(s). You then export the profile data to a Data Warehouse database for analysis, or make the data available to other applications.

The following table shows the primary features of the Profiles Schema Manager.
