Step 9: Install the Business Desk Client

After you unpack a site, you can install the Commerce Server Business Desk client by connecting to the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) for the Business Desk application.

To install the Business Desk client on Computer 2

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, and then click Internet Explorer.
  2. Using Internet Explorer, type http://<Webservername>/supplieradbizdesk as the URL to access the Business Desk for the Supplier Solution Site.
  3. In the Browse for Folder dialog box, accept the default folder, or select another folder to store the HTML Application (HTA) file, and then click OK. The Business Desk client will be downloaded and installed on Computer 2.
  4. After Business Desk installation has completed, close Internet Explorer. The Business Desk icon now appears as a shortcut on your desktop and on the Start menu.
