The UpdateTimeOut property gets or sets the time-out period, in seconds, for checking for, downloading, installing updates.

Parameters

  • lUpdateTimeOut
    A 32-bit integer that specifies the time-out period, in seconds, for checking for, downloading, installing updates.

  • plUpdateTimeOut
    Pointer to a variable that on return receives a 32-bit integer specifying the time-out period, in seconds, for checking for, downloading, installing updates.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write. The default value is 600, and the range of permissible values is from 1 through 999,999,999.
