Returns an instance of an item of the passed-in Type that is added to the collection.

Parameters

type
Type: System.Type
Type of Object to create.

Return Value

Type: System.Object
An object instance of the specified type, or nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if no appropriate constructor was found.
