Parameters

  • element
    The XmlElement to load into the security token.

Return Value

A SecurityToken created from the XML element.

Remarks

When the security token type referenced in the XML element is unknown, use the GetTokenFromKeyInfo method.

This method is typically only called when WSE calls the GetTokenFromXml method.

Notes to Inheritors: If an exception is thrown by this method, then processing for the current SOAP message will fail.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
