Multilanguage File
The Multilanguage file contains the list of objects that you have in your Microsoft Dynamics NAV solution together with any translated captions that belong to the objects. In Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 Help Toolkit there are two kinds of Multilanguage files:
Multilanguage files (.txt) - these are files that are exported from Microsoft Dynamics NAV that contain all text strings relevant for objects. For more information, see How to: Create the Multilanguage File.
Object XML files - these are XML files that can be created from Multilanguage files using Help Builder and that contain only localized captions (the CaptionML property). For more information, see How to: Create the Object String File.
Help Builder uses the object string file to replace tokens in the Help content with actual object names. In Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 Help Toolkit, Help Builder can use an object string file in both .txt and .xml format.
Reference Help Generator uses the object string file to generate HTML topics for reference Help. Help generator can only use the object string file in Multilanguage format (.txt).
