Attachment Storage Type Field, Marketing Setup Table

Specifies how you want to store attachments. The following options exist:

  • Embedded

  • Disk File

Note

To save an attachment to a disk file, the user account credentials that are used on the instance of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server must have full Read, Write, and Delete permission levels. These permissions are set on the folder that you specify in the Attachment Storage Location field. For more information, see Sharing and Collaboration Permissions or contact your system administrator.
