Relational Currency Code Field, Currency Exchange Rate Table

Specifies how you want to set up the two currencies, one of the currencies can be LCY, for which you want to register exchange rates. This field is used in combination with the Currency Code field.

If you are in a non-EMU country/region and want to set up exchange rates between foreign currencies and LCY, then leave this field blank. (You enter the foreign currency code for which information on this line is defined in the Currency Code field.)

If you need to register the exchange rate between an EMU country's/region's old national currency and the euro, for example DEM to EUR, then you must enter EUR in this field. The old EMU currencies, in this example DEM, only have an exchange rate in relation to the euro.
