Job Calculate WIP Batch Job

Calculates the value of work in process (WIP) on your jobs.

The calculation is based on the WIP method that you have chosen on the individual jobs.

Every time you use this batch job, the program creates WIP entries in connection with the jobs included. You can see the WIP entries for each job in the Job WIP Entries window.

On each job, you can see the current WIP calculated on the Posting FastTab on the Job Card window.

Note

This function only calculates WIP; it does not post WIP to the general ledger. To do so, you must run the Job Post WIP to G/L batch job when you have calculated the WIP with this function.
