Line Discount % Field, Service Contract Line Table

Contains the line discount percentage that will be given on the service item line.

The program calculates this percentage using the Line Value and Line Discount Amount fields when the service contract line is created or the mentioned fields are updated. The following formula is used for the Line Discount % calculation: Line Discount % = (Line Discount Amount / Line Value) * 100.

Important

If you change the contents of this field, the program will update the contents of the Line Amount, Line Discount Amount and Profit fields on the service contract line.
