To delete an opened message, click Delete Delete on the toolbar.

How do I delete multiple messages?

  1. In the main window, select the check box next to each message you want to delete.
  2. Click Delete Delete on the main Outlook Web App toolbar.

All deleted messages are sent to the Deleted Items folder. Deleted messages aren't permanently removed until the Deleted Items folder is emptied.

What else do I need to know?

  • There may be a policy on your Deleted Items folder that will cause items in it to be permanently deleted after they've been in the folder for a certain period of time.
