Give the Migration Service Permission to Configure Mail Forwarding for Cloud-based Mailboxes

After the migration process has created new cloud-based mailboxes during a staged e-mail migration, it has to configure e-mail forwarding so that e-mail sent to an on-premises mailbox is forwarded to the corresponding cloud-based mailbox.

To forward e-mail to cloud-based mailboxes, the migration process populates the TargetAddress attribute on the on-premises mailbox with the e-mail address of the cloud-based mailbox. To upload the CSV migration file for a staged e-mail migration, you have to agree to give the migration process permission to make this change in your on-premises directory.

If the TargetAddress attribute can't be set on an on-premises mailbox, an error is logged in the MigrationErrors.csv file.
