BUILD_MULTIPROCESSOR

The BUILD_MULTIPROCESSOR environment variable can be used to configure the number of threads (i.e., number of processors) used for various passes. When the BUILD_MULTIPROCESSOR environment variable is defined on a multiprocessor computer, Build starts one thread for each processor.

This is the same as using the -M command-line switch without an additional argument. See Build Utility Command-Line Parameters for information about the -M threads switch.

On a single-processor computer, this variable has no effect.
