ProviderName Property of the IFPCCookieCryptoConfiguration Interface

The ProviderName property gets or sets the name of the cryptographic service provider used for cookie encryption.

Parameters

  • bstrProviderName
    BSTR that specifies the name of the cryptographic service provider used for cookie encryption.

  • pbstrProviderName
    Pointer to a BSTR that is set on return to a string value specifying the name of the cryptographic service provider used for cookie encryption.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write. This property is initially set to the Microsoft AES Cryptographic Provider.
