The IpsApplicationProtocol property gets the application protocol in which the Network Inspection System (NIS) detected the signature.

Parameters

  • pbstrIpsApplicationProtocol
    Pointer to a BSTR that is set on return to a string value specifying the application protocol in which NIS detected the signature.

This property method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.
