OfferBasicAuthenticationAfterTLSEnabled Property of the IFPCSmtpAuthenticationSettings Interface

The OfferBasicAuthenticationAfterTLSEnabled property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether Basic authentication only after TLS negotiation is enabled.

Parameters

  • fOfferBasicAuthenticationAfterTLSEnabled
    Boolean value that specifies whether Basic authentication only after TLS negotiation is enabled.

  • pfOfferBasicAuthenticationAfterTLSEnabled
    Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if Basic authentication only after TLS negotiation is enabled, or to VARIANT_FALSE if Basic authentication only after TLS negotiation is disabled.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its default value is False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++).

Basic authentication only after TLS negotiation can be enabled only when both the BasicAuthenticationEnabled property and the TlsEnabled property are set to True (VARIANT_TRUE in C++).
