[HomeGroupManager.CreateHomeGroup is no longer available for use as of Windows Server 2012 Essentials.] Creates a homegroup by using the specified name as the creator name.

Parameters

creator
The name of the creator of the homegroup.

Remarks

To use object model operations such as folder operations, you must import the HomeUsers group into the Identity of the server. This can be accomplished via the ImportUser method.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
